Having worked for CWBSA in Botswana last week, I officially feel like a clown without a border...
CWBSA was invited to Mochudi last week by Stepping Stones International (SSI) to provide a two day taster/training in our Njabulo residency programme. It was a great organisation to work with and I especially love the metaphor of the stepping stone. I see it as something that quietly enables and supports you to move forward on your journey, often without recognition or thanks (so thank you to all my stepping stones, wherever and whoever you are) !
It was a flying visit to Botswana but in that time we made a great connection with the organisation, which is full of enthusiastic people with bright minds. The training was fun and insightful into CWBSA and our playful approach. The group who attended the taster/training was made up of SSI staff, youth mentors and volunteers from the German Cooperation for International Collaboration. This diversity made the experience rich and kept Nadia and I on our toes. I hope this is the first step (ing stone) on a fruitful and fun filled path with SSI!
